2024年10月から開始し全25話を好評のうちに終えたアニメ「チ。 ―地球の運動について―」のオリジナル・サウンドトラックが配信に続いてCDでのリリースが決定した。

 

15世紀のヨーロッパを舞台に、地動説を証明することに自らの信念と命を懸けた人々を描いたアニメ『チ。 ―地球の運動について―』（原作：魚豊）。物語の完結に伴い、その壮大な物語を支え彩った劇伴の配信がついに解禁されることとなった。音楽を担当したのは、agraph名義でのソロアーティストとしての活動のほか、近年は劇伴作家として世界的に高い評価を得ている牛尾憲輔。本作には原作者・魚豊のリクエストによって参加が決定したという経緯があり、牛尾本人もグレゴリオ聖歌の譜面の研究からスタートしたという熱のこもった制作となった。

今回発売されるCDでは、制作された全55曲をCD2枚組にすべて収録、その魅力を余すことなく楽しめる内容となっている。また、付属の24Pブックレットに魚豊（原作者）×牛尾憲輔（音楽）の特別対談を収録。劇伴制作の裏話から、お互いの創作の源流を遡るまで、約20,000字に及ぶボリュームでたっぷり語り尽くしたここでしか読めない特別対談となっている。

 

その音楽に繰り返し触れて、物語と登場人物たちに思いを馳せていただきたい。
